Digital Law Asia

Mission

Digital Law Asia is a platform aimed at bringing together leading and emerging scholars, practitioners, and experts from all over the world to contribute scholarly discussions and critical perspectives on matters relating to digital law in Asia. Our mission is to utilize the most effective content distribution methods so that our contributors can quickly deliver and readers can easily digest cutting-edge information. The project of Digital Law Asia is sponsored by National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University Center for Digital Governance and Legal Innovation and School of Law. We are devoted to ensuring that our contributors represent a diversity of thought, experience, and background, and we do not take positions on issues.

Innovative Approach

Digital Law Asia stands out somewhat uniquely among law journals due to its unconventional publishing format. Unlike traditional law journals that may feature lengthy articles and research papers, Digital Law Asia focuses exclusively on shorter blog posts, considering submissions between 500 and 2,000 words. This concise format allows for more accessible and rapid dissemination of information, reflecting the fast-paced nature of developments in digital law.

Furthermore, the journal also embraces multimedia approaches by publishing podcasts and videos. These innovative mediums provide an engaging way to disseminate information and reach a broader audience, including those who may prefer auditory or visual content. Such diverse content formats cater to different learning styles and preferences, making Digital Law Asia more inclusive and appealing to a wide range of readers and listeners.
